报告摘要Electrochemical energy storage (EES) systems have attracted extensive attention both in fundamental studies and practical technologies. Electrode materials, as the key components in EES systems, should bear a high capacity, energy, power, and cycle life. 3D structured electrode materials feature high active specific surface areas and stereoscopic structures with multitudinous energy storage sites and can facilitate rapid mass transportation. In alkali metal batteries, they can assure uniform metal nucleation as well as mitigate dendrite formation through the kinetic control of metal deposition even at high local current densities. Therefore, advanced 3D electrode structures could play a vital role in next-generation EES technologies. In the past, the speaker conducted and led research activities to design various carbon-based and non-carbon 3D electrodes, optimize the 3D surfaces/interfaces, explore the structure-performance relationship by advanced characterization techniques as well as theoretical modeling, etc. In this talk, the speaker will summarize the activities and share his views on the future topics.

报告人简介:於晓亮博士,香港理工大学机械工程学系助理教授。2011年和2016年毕业于清华大学,获学士和博士学位,博士毕业后赴日本国家材料科学研究所(NIMS)开展博士后研究,2020年加入香港理工大学开始独立PI工作。於晓亮博士的主要研究兴趣是纳米碳基材料、复合材料的界面设计以及能量存储器件(包括锂/钠/钾电池和金属-硫电池),迄今已在Adv. Mater., Adv. Energy Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater., Nano Energy, Energy Storage Mater., InfoMat等高水平期刊上发表学术论文三十余篇,担任Frontier in Chemistry期刊的首席客座编辑。
